Polson, MT

After Yellowstone we continued North and stopped by Polson which overlooks a beautiful mountain range with Flathead Lake at its base.  The first night we got there we didn’t have a place to stay so we ended up staying at a Walmart.  This Walmart had a great view overlooking mountains and a lake.  We also met an amazing family with the same RV and that was from Florida in this same parking lot.

After Walmart we stayed at Polson RV Resort and ended up being one of the smaller rigs there.  Lots of million dollar RV’s and it was a gorgeous place to stay.  Our new friends from Florida ended up staying one row down here and we also met another great couple Steve and Janine who have been on the road for 5 yrs.

While we were sleeping a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit 70 miles from where we were staying.  It actually woke Rhonda up and so we all got a chance to experience it.

The best part of this stop was meeting these two great families.  Can’t wait to see both of them back in Florida!!!

Yellowstone, MT

We couldn’t be so close to America’s first national park and not stop by.  There were a lot of tourists but there was also tons of wildlife visible.

We are trying a new format for the blog so let us know what you think.  Click on the first photo and a slide show will start showing the comments on the photos.

Grand Tetons, WY

Finally we had some cooler weather.  This was the first stop on the vacation that felt like “The West”.

127

Alas Rhonda takes the helm and feels the 30,000 lbs of rolling thunder in the palms of her hands. This is while driving through Wyoming between Cheyenne and Jackson. This rig is not made for people who are on the smaller side because we had to put a pillow behind her so she could reach the pedals.

128

There were tons of wildflowers all over. I think Mommy and I should be models.

129

Beautiful shot of the Tetons

130

Another great shot of the Tetons

132

So I ran into a park ranger that had a bear pelt on display. I couldn’t get enough of this thing and was rubbing up on it for a solid 5 minutes. I guess it make sense since I was bred to hunt bears.

131

Ahhhhh nothing like the smell of bear first thing in the morning.

133

Look it’s me in a field of yellow flowers. These darn humans are always making me pose for these photo ops.

134

I figured I would give in to the humans and take a family photo. It was gorgeous on the top of Signal Mountain.

135

I love to “Snout Out” while on drives. Do you know what the Grand Tetons means? Look it up. I haven’t seen them since I was a puppy

136

‘Merica…………

137

Beautiful image we saw while on a hike. Yes this a photo we took and not fake.

138

Ahh the wind running through my snout……Life is good

139

While at the base of the Tetons I saw a moose grazing for food. Doesn’t he know that humans will feed you, what an idiot.

140

Check out my amazing moves…..

141

I think he likes me. Little does he know, I’m just not that in to him.

142

This bulldog won’t leave me alone….

143

Well we have had fun at the Tetons, its off to Yellowstone……..Stay Tuned

Chicago, IL

This is our first time visiting this great town…….wait who am I kidding,  Mommy and Daddy both grew up here.  We had to come in one last time and visit family who couldn’t make it to the wedding before heading out West.  Of course we forgot to take photos with family, but we did get a chance to pose for a reenactment of a 2014 photo.  What a difference three years makes.

124

This was a photo of my best friends AJ and Sienna taken on our journey from 2014.

125

This is the same photo, can you spot the differences from the 2014 photo?

Bloomington, IN

We rolled into Bloomington to hang out with Ben and Ellen.  Daddy used to work with Ben and loved this town for its great food and beer.  Ben and Ellen told us about an 80’s cover band playing at the Summerfest so Mommy couldn’t resist we had to go.

122

At the Bloomington Summer fest and listening to an awesome group called Hair Banger’s Ball. Mommy and Ellen love these 80’s songs, and Daddy and Ben love to drink beer so this was a great night for all.

123

After the concert the humans went out in downtown Bloomington for some drinks.

Evansville, IN

We stopped by Evansville to visit our friends Mark and Amanda.  I visited Mark in 2014 when we were in Lake Norman.  He is my boating boyfriend (Munchen’s not Tony’s).

121

We stopped by Evansville to visit our Friends Mark, Amanda and Baby Morland ( coming this summer).

120

Their neighbors let us park in their driveway which included a garage that we could fit in. Daddy had serious garage envy.

Asheville, NC

Well what everyone said would never happen finally did, after 9 years of dating and 5 years of engagement we finally got hitched.  This was one of the best weeks of our lives due to our friends and family making the journey to our destination wedding.

101

We went for a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is about 25 minutes from our house.

102

I love my Daddy, even with this scruffy beard. This is overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains heading south on the parkway.

103

While on a hike to a waterfall we ran into some little humans and we became fast friends.

104

Wedding rehearsal practice at Highland Brewery.

105

Daddy and his best men showing up fashionably late. Imagine that, this group not being on time.

106

This is up on the parkway before the wedding.

107

A great shot of the ceremony. I am not shown because I escaped my handler, Michele, and was roaming through the aisles saying hello to everyone.

108

Eewwww. I hate it when the humans do this.

109

Daddy in human years is 12 I believe.

110

That Daddy is one lucky guy!!

111

Mommy celebrating after all of her hard work planning the wedding!!!!!!

112

I want nothing more than to jump up and eat the pimento cheese on Daddy’s plate.

113

Mommy with some of her best friends from West Chcicago. Mommy has some hot friends!!!!!!

114

I was the ring bearer, and my cousin Beree made this beautiful collar and leash. You may notice the absence of the leash, this is due to me breaking it 5 minutes before the ceremony. This made it extra fun for my sister Michele to hold me during the wedding.

115

Daddy is all class……..Maybe he will grow up one of these days………Nah who am I kidding.

116

Charlie’s Angels even made an appearance! Thanks again to all of our Florida peeps for making the journey.!!

117

I guess 10+ beers can transform two grown men into a unicorn. I guess the open bar is to blame. Shout out to Mikey and Patrick!!

118

Dad’s first cousin David stopped by our house to visit. Little does he know we will visiting him in Los Angeles in November.

119

Maria and Rodrigo took us for a drive and we saw a cool waterfall outside of Franklin.

Winter 2014 – Summer 2017 Recap

So we are trying to catch up the blog and this post will be a random overview of the last couple of years to get the blog up to date.  Enjoy!!!

1

Christmas 2014, and they made me wear these ridiculous looking antlers.

2

The humans went to Colorado and went to Left Hand Brewery. You know what they brought me back….nothing.

3

Visited some friends in Castle Rock and stopped by Roxborough Park.

4

My buddy Wally came over and stayed with us. He liked my bed, so I decided to share it with him.

5

Happy ChrismaHannaKwanza!!!!!

6

Our new neighbors had to be properly welcomed into the neighborhood. We are still on the lookout for the hooligans who did this to Dan and Michelle’s blow up Santa.

7

While in Orlando visiting Sal and Jules we went for a ride on the Orlando Eye. I decided it would be a perfect place to rip one, due to the fact that the humans could not open any windows. They had to sit and enjoy my essence………

8

Aunt Christie stopped over and brought my buddy Yogi!!!!

9

So the humans left me at home and went for a weekend trip to Gainesville for a Delt Reunion. Luckily when Dad went to empty the black tank (yes that’s the one with the poopie) his hose was bad and he got it on his toes. Dumb idea to wear flip-flops when emptying the tank Dad……..I guess it serves you right for leaving me at home.

10

This is the humans at a hole in the wall called “Balls” where Dad used to work. I hear the drinks are poured nice and strong here.

11

I guess the drinks were too strong……… luckily Ryan was there to give Dad and Meg water.

12

Spring Trip to Asheville with Michele’s. This is a photo in front of the Grove Park Inn. They have an amazing breakfast buffet.

13

During spring break Trista, Autumn and Lily came down to visit. I am very tired from all the dress-up that Lily and I have been doing.

14

I am hiding, can you see me?????

15

While in Dunedin I ran into a pack of Airedales. The two older ones were saying “Hi” to me, but I was more interested in sniffing the airedale puppy.

16

We took a weekend trip to Gainesville and saw some natural springs.

17

While in Gainesville we took a hike down to Devil’s Millhopper. Last time Daddy had been down here was with Bubba and Cary 20 years ago.

18

Summer fun at Dog Bar in St. Petersburg. This is a great place where I can play and the humans can drink beer.

19

Mommy and I went hiking in North Carolina and saw this pretty waterfall.

20

While on the hike we found this stream and I took it as an opportunity to cool off.

21

We went hiking in NC with Chris, Cindy and Charlie and we found some more waterfalls.

22

Another trip to Asheville and this time we stopped at New Belgium Brewery which is right along the French Broad River.

23

While in Asheville we went on a hike and found this nice stream. It was hot so I needed to cool off again.

24

Summer trip to Chicago, and we got to visit Dad’s Grandfather. He is in amazing shape for 97.

25

While in Chicago Mom got a chance to hang out with her friends.

26

Mom hanging out with Amy and Chas.

27

Another weekend trip to Chicago that the humans didn’t bring me on. This time they went to Karen and Scott’s wedding. This is a shot showing the debauchery after the wedding.

28

Stopped by Dog Bar again and met up with one of the owners. This guy gives the best rubs……..

29

During Martyn’s birthday party Dad’s friend Phil had to pay up on a bet he made. This photo documents the huge $1 payout. Suck it Phil!!!!!!!

30

Sabrina came over for a playdate and we are both exhausted!!!!!!

31

Thanksgiving 2016 we took the RV down to Key West. This place has the best view we have ever had. We have our own dock and tiki hut.

32

Dad and I chilling on the dock

33

Notice the sweet dog bed the humans bought me.

34

While in Key West I figured it would be a perfect time for to make the “Southernmost Poop”. Notice the Southermost Point right down the street.

35

Along those lines time for the Southernmost Hug!!!

36

Winter 2016 trip to Asheville. Family Photo with my sister Michele with Mom and Dad. They think they are sooo cool with matching shirts.

37

Mom and Michele at French Broad Brewery. Notice the amazing bacon art behind them.

38

While at the Biltmore Estate Dad found this tree and reverted back to a 12 yr old. Maybe he will grow up one of these days.

39

In Asheville Mom and Grandma went dress shopping. Doesn’t Mom look beautiful!!!!!

40

It snowed while we were in Asheville!!! It was soo cold Mom put my jacket on. This is right across from our house with the French Broad River in the background.

41

Chicago Night Dinner (Chicago style hot dogs, and Italian Beefs) with Tom, Sally, Mark and Julie. I may have gotten some scrap of pizza crust………

42

Mom met up with her friend Kristen at Skippers Smokehouse.

43

This is Dad at his Bachelor Party with Mikey and Ryan. These guys know how to party. Someone tell Dad he looks like a preacher with white under shirt.

44

This is where Dad had his bachelor party. I am not sure what he is doing to that horse but I think it is illegal in 26 states.

45

Mom attending a celebration of life for our dear friend Chas.  He will be incredibly missed and was an amazing soul.

46

Mom had her bachelorette party, doesn’t she look cute??

47

Dinner at St. Pete Beach

48

Dad quit his job and his amazing neighbors decided to throw him a retirement party. So every night while dad slept the “amazing” neighbors would tee pee and vandalize Dad’s RV and Jeep. I have to say they were dedicated and did it for 4 days in a row!!!!!

49

Here’s a side view of the RV showing the neighbors artwork.

50

On the fourth morning Dad was going to work and found the Jeep totally wrapped. I have to say those neighbors are good. Shout out to Mark, Julie, Dan, Michelle, Mark, Jill, Lindsay and DeLaney.

51

Time to start the 2017 RV trip. This is a family photo taken by our neighbor Michelle. I am going to miss playing with Ella, she always pets me and gives me treats.

52

After 10 hrs of driving we made it to Asheville and we met up with my old buddy Sienna. She really knows how to make a doggy comfy!!!!!! I can’t wait, Mommy and Daddy are finally going to get married and I am excited to be part of it………Check the next post for photos!!!!

Asheville, NC

We apologize for this post being 2+ years late, but better late than never.  Asheville was the last stop on our 2014 trip up the East Coast.  We love this city so much we ended up building a house and eventually, I know insert joke here, getting married on May 27, 2017.  During this visit our friends Rob and Christie joined up with us and we had a wonderful time.

0741

Yay!!!! Aunt Christie is here!!!!

We all hiked up above Craggy Gardens on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

IMG_2168

Mom had the Hogzilla at 12 Bones. It consisted of a brautwurst sandwich with pulled pork, bacon and pepper jack cheese on top. Yeah she didn’t share any…….so selfish.

082

Biltmore……Woo Hoo

From Boston we headed to the eastern part of Cape Cod.  We visited Provincetown, Hyannis and Eastham.  For some reason every house, and I do mean EVERY house has the same “Cape Cod” siding.
