Ketchikan, AK

From Juneau we took a 19 hour ferry ride to Ketchikan, which is the southernmost city before arriving in British Columbia.  Our campsite was right on the water and we saw many sea lions less than 50 feet from our RV.  Ketchikan is the last city we stayed at in Alaska and we will really miss our stay in the last frontier.  Alaska is a beautiful state and was hard to see it all in 10 weeks.   We have met many wonderful people and seen some amazing sights.

While in Ketchikan it rained for most of the stay but we did manage to get out one day and go for a hike in the rain forest.  The weather is still in the upper 50’s during the day and mid 40’s at night, with rain and overcast skies mainly.  Alaska is definitely giving us the boot to get out with all this rainy weather.  We will miss Alaska and will be back some day.
